Following divorce, ex-spouses might at some point find themselves in a conflict over the terms of the divorce decree or their martial settlement agreement. If a party feels that the other is in default of a term, he or she should always avoid using threatening language to force the other party’s compliance, no matter how flagrant the default may be.
